What does construction progress photography cost in Phoenix?

Short answer: $900 for one half-day visit across up to four job sites, $1,200 to $3,600 a month if you want a crew on a schedule, and $1,800 to $3,600 to document a single build from dirt to reveal. Drone, editing, vertical cuts and full usage rights are inside every number. This page explains where each price comes from so you can compare it with any other quote.

The three ways it is priced

  • One visit: $900 content dayA half day covering up to four of your active addresses. Up to 40 edited photos, two short videos delivered vertical and landscape, aerial photos and video where the airspace allows. Videos in three business days, photos in five. Credited in full against a plan started within 30 days.
  • On a schedule: $1,200, $2,000 or $3,600 a monthStarter is one visit a month, Growth is two, Pro is four. Each visit covers up to four sites. Stills scale from 60 to 150 a month, short videos from two to four, and a before and after film comes quarterly on Starter and monthly on Growth and Pro. Three months to start, then month to month with thirty days notice.
  • One build: $1,800 or $3,600Before and After is two visits on one job, weeks or months apart, shot from the same positions. Build Story is four visits across a build: dirt, structure, finish, reveal. Six or more visits is quoted per project.

What the per-visit math looks like

Every plan is built from the same half-day visit. Starter works out to $1,200 a visit, Growth to $1,000 a visit and Pro to $900 a visit, the same as a one-off content day but with more stills, more cuts and a film every month. The discount is for committing to a cadence, because a crew that knows your sites and your schedule shoots faster and misses less.

Prepaying moves the number again: ten percent off any plan billed quarterly, two months free billed annually.

Why most quotes are hard to compare

Most construction photographers in Phoenix price by the hour or the day and then add the drone, the edit, the vertical versions and the licensing as separate lines. The quote you get back depends on what you remembered to ask for. Ours is one number with all of that inside, and it is on the pricing page before you call.

If a quote does not say whether you own the files, assume you do not. Every Copper Frame deliverable comes with full usage rights.

What changes the price

Number of sites, not square footage. A visit covers up to four addresses. A single large build and four small yards cost the same half day.

Airspace. Drone is included where it can be flown. Most East Valley addresses sit under Sky Harbor, Chandler, Falcon Field or Gateway airspace and we file the FAA authorization. A few addresses near Luke Air Force Base can only be shot from the ground; the price does not change, the deliverables do.

Dusk and crew shoots. A twilight set of a finished pool or patio, and a staged crew shoot, are included quarterly on Pro and can be added to any visit.

Where the sites are. No travel charge anywhere in the Phoenix metro. Nearby towns outside it, such as Casa Grande or Wickenburg, are $75 a visit; long-distance sites such as Tucson, Yuma or Flagstaff start at $150 a visit, quoted by distance. Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek, Tempe, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, Phoenix and the West Valley cities on the city pages are all inside the metro.

What is not in these prices

Measured documentation. As-built drawings, pre-drywall scans, CAD, Revit and Xactimate files are a different product with a different crew. That is RevealBuilt, our sister company, and it publishes its own rate card. RevealBuilt also runs documentation-grade progress programs for builders, developers and commercial owners: repeatable waypoints, comparison sets, an archive and measured records.

Listing photography of a finished home. If the house is done and going on the MLS, that is The Listing Bees, from $165 with a free floor plan.

Google profile work without a crew. Profile Upkeep is $199 a month on its own and is included with every monthly plan. A one-time Visibility Setup is $1,200 and credits toward a content plan.

Questions about cost

How much does construction progress photography cost in Phoenix?

With Copper Frame Media, $900 for a half-day content day across up to four job sites, $1,200 to $3,600 a month for one to four scheduled visits, or $1,800 to $3,600 to document one build in two or four visits. Drone, editing, vertical video cuts and full usage rights are included in every price.

Is drone photography extra?

No. Aerial photos and video are included on every visit where the site can be flown. We file FAA authorization for controlled airspace. Where a site cannot be flown, such as some addresses near Luke Air Force Base, we shoot from the ground at the same price.

What does a construction time-lapse cost?

A multi-visit time-lapse is built from the Before and After ($1,800, two visits) or Build Story ($3,600, four visits) projects, shot from the same positions each time. A continuous site camera is $650 a month per viewpoint, $450 a month for a second camera on the same site, and $750 one time to install and commission, with one trip covering one or two cameras. That covers the camera, solar panel, cellular data and cloud hosting, remote viewing for unlimited viewers, a 60-second progress clip each month and the finished time-lapse film at completion. Most run 12 months from install, then month to month. Full camera details are on the pricing page.

Is there a minimum or a contract?

A content day has no minimum and no contract. Monthly plans run three months to start, then month to month with thirty days notice. Projects are a fixed price agreed before the first visit.

Do I own the photos and videos?

Yes. Full usage rights for web, social, print, bids and trade shows. We keep the right to show the work in our own portfolio.

How does this compare to hiring a photographer by the hour?

Hourly quotes usually exclude drone, editing time, vertical versions and licensing, so the final invoice is higher than the rate suggests. Our numbers are the final invoice. Put the two side by side with everything included and compare.
