Home / Remodelers

Every remodel is a before and after. Almost none of them get photographed as one.

Kitchens, baths, whole homes, garages and additions across the Phoenix metro. We shoot the day before demo, during the rough-in, and when the last cabinet door is hung, so the story exists.

The homeowner is already picturing it

A remodel client spends months imagining a kitchen that does not exist yet. What they want to see, before they sign, is someone else's kitchen that started the way theirs looks now and ended the way theirs is supposed to. That pair is the sale. The finished-kitchen gallery every remodeler already has answers the wrong question.

The before shot takes twenty minutes and has to happen before demo. The during shots, rough-in and drywall and tile, are the ones that prove the work is not subcontracted and rushed. The after is the easy part.

Why remodelers and summer belong together

Pool and hardscape work stops in July. Remodels do not. Interior work runs year round, and a remodeler is the one trade whose content calendar does not have a hole in it from June to September. If your feed goes quiet in summer, this is the fix.

A remodel with a documented before is a portfolio piece. A remodel without one is a nice kitchen.

What we shoot on a remodel

  • Before, pre-demoEvery room from the positions the after will be shot from. Marked on the floor plan so the pair lines up.
  • Rough-in and drywallFraming, plumbing, electrical, the moment the layout becomes visible. Vertical clips for a feed that shows the work happening.
  • Tile, cabinets, countersThe craft content. Detail shots of the work a homeowner cannot judge from across the room.
  • After, styled and litWide and honest so the space reads right, plus the matched pair to the before.
  • The crewPeople at work, for hiring posts and for the About page.
  • Aerials for additions and exteriorsCasitas, garages and outdoor kitchens in context with the house.

What a month looks like on a remodeler plan

Visits run on a set schedule, not around your construction milestones, so nobody on your side has to coordinate a photographer. A Growth month across two or three active jobs runs like this.

  1. Week 1Befores and demoNew jobs get their before from the marked positions. Demo day if it falls this week.
  2. Week 2Rough-inFraming, plumbing, electrical on whatever is open. The proof shots.
  3. Week 3FinishesTile, cabinets, counters, paint. Detail work across active jobs.
  4. Week 4Afters and the filmCompleted jobs shot from the marked positions, styled. The month's film cut from the pair.

What a scheduled visit produces

A herringbone tile floor going in over four days, cut to three minutes. This is what a remodel looks like when the before, the during and the after are all on film.

What contractors and homeowners say

Having professional documentation of our projects gives us something tangible to share with future customers. It highlights our work, our process, and the details that set us apart.

There are so many little moments during a home build that you don't fully appreciate until everything is finished. Having the whole journey captured means we can share the story of our home with our family for years to come.

Questions

The homeowner is living in the house during the remodel. Is that a problem?

It is normal. We schedule early, we are in and out in an hour per visit, and the homeowner signs a one-line release that your contract should already cover. We can supply the language.

We forgot the before. Is it too late?

If demo has started, a mid-demo frame is still a usable before. Going forward, the fix is telling us the address the week before demo, which is the whole reason visits run on a set schedule.

Can you shoot from the designer's renderings?

Yes. Send the renderings and we shoot the finished room from the rendering's viewpoint. Rendering next to reality is the most persuasive content a remodeler can post.

Do you do the styled, magazine-style after?

We do a styled after with what is in the house and an hour. A full styled shoot with props and a stylist is quoted separately.
