Home / Roofing, solar & exterior

Work nobody can see from the ground, on jobs that finish in two days.

Roofing and solar have the hardest content problem in the trades: the product is on top of the building, the crew is gone by Thursday, and the only photos are taken on a phone from a ladder. We solve it for Phoenix roofing and solar crews from the air.

Aerial solves both jobs at once

A drone pass before tear off and a drone pass after completion gives you a marketing asset and a condition record from the same fifteen minutes on site.

One of those wins you the next job. The other one is what you want on file when a homeowner claims the roof looked different before your crew arrived.

Cadence over scheduling

We do not try to be on site during a two day tear off. We batch: a route of several addresses on the same day, some pre-job, some post-job, some mid-install.

You send the week's addresses. We build the route.

Included

  • Aerial before and afterMatched altitude and angle so the pair reads as the same roof, which is the only way the comparison is convincing.
  • Array and detail workPanel layout, rail work, flashing, penetrations and edge detail. The evidence that the install was done properly.
  • Crew and processPeople on roofs is the most human content this trade has. It makes a company look established rather than subcontracted, and it is the content your recruiting posts need too.
  • Street level exteriorThe finished elevation, because the homeowner's neighbors are your next three leads.

Also covered here: stucco and paint, windows and doors, and exterior remodel.

What a month looks like on a roofing or solar contractor plan

Visits run on a set schedule, not around your construction milestones, so nobody on your side has to coordinate a photographer. A Growth month across two or three active sites runs like this.

  1. Week 1Pre-job aerialsA drone pass over the week's upcoming addresses before tear-off. Marketing baseline and condition record from the same fifteen minutes.
  2. Week 2Install dayA route through active jobs. Crew on the roof, rail and flashing detail, panel layout. The most human content this trade has.
  3. Week 3Post-job aerialsMatched altitude and angle to the pre-job frame, so the pair reads as the same roof and the comparison is convincing.
  4. Week 4Street level and filmFinished elevations for the neighbors who are your next three leads, and a before and after cut from the month.

Where we shoot

Aerial work needs airspace clearance near Sky Harbor, Gateway, Falcon Field and Deer Valley, which we handle, so flag those addresses a week out. Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek, Tempe, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria and Surprise. Stucco, paint, windows and exterior remodel ride on the same retainer.

What a scheduled visit produces

Aerial work from two scheduled visits. A roof or an array gets the same top-down flight: the work nobody can see from the street, filmed in a way the homeowner will share.

What contractors say

Copper Frame Media offers a unique way to preserve our work while helping us market future projects. Having that process documented gives us content we can continue to use long after a project is complete.

ChrisConstruction company owner

Good construction deserves to be showcased properly. Documenting our projects captures the progress, coordination, and craftsmanship that people don't always get to see. It gives prospective buyers more confidence in what we do.

Questions

Is drone work legal over a residential property?

Yes, flown by an FAA-licensed pilot. Controlled airspace near an airport requires authorization, which we handle. Flag those addresses early because it can add lead time.

Can this replace our inspection photos?

No. It supplements them. Our capture is marketing and general condition documentation, not an inspection report and not a measured record. Measured roof plans for commercial solar are a RevealBuilt service.

We run thirty jobs a month. Can you cover all of them?

Not all of them, and you would not want to pay for it. We select a representative set each month, weighted toward the jobs that photograph well and the neighborhoods you want more work in.
